"SONNETS FOR AN OLD CENTURY is a dreamscape filled with poignant, funny, lyrical and haunting monologues from recently deceased individuals."
- Sonia Borkar

The play is a beautiful piece by award winning writer José Rivera which poses the question “What would your last words be?”

Spread a picnic mat out under the stars and be immersed in the stories of thirty characters who are preparing to cross the ultimate threshold between life and what lies beyond it. Bordering on pure comedy at one time and heart-wrenching emotions at another, audiences will be pleasantly surprised at the variety of life experiences and anecdotes that surfaces throughout the monologues featured in the play.
